This page describes what happens to your information on spookyriddim.com. It is short because the site does very little.

What this site collects

Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and no forms. Nothing is written to your browser's storage, and no third-party script runs on any page. Every file the site loads comes from spookyriddim.com itself — even the fonts, which are served from here rather than from Google.

One exception, written down because you would otherwise only find it by reading the page source. Cloudflare, which serves this site, adds a tag for its own analytics script to every page on the way out. This site blocks that script from loading, so it never runs and it measures nothing — but the tag is in the HTML you receive. We did not add it, there is no setting on this account that removes it, and blocking it is the control we actually have. If that block is ever lifted, this paragraph changes with it.

What the host records

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare records ordinary request logs — your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string — and uses them to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine those logs with anything else, and we do not use them to build a profile of you. Cloudflare's handling of that data is covered by their privacy policy.

Joining the list

Every signup control on this site is a link out of this site to Laylo. Your phone number is entered on Laylo's site, stored by Laylo, and never touches this one — there is no form here to type it into. What you give them is governed by Laylo's Privacy Policy and Terms.

We use that list to tell you about tour dates, releases, merch and the sample pack. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. You can leave at any time — every message carries opt-out instructions, and Laylo handles the unsubscribe.

Leaving the site

Links to ticket vendors, stores and social platforms open on those companies' own sites. Once you are there you are subject to their policies, not this one. That includes anywhere you buy a ticket: we never see your payment details.

Outbound links on the Things page carry utm_source=spookyriddim. That tells the site you land on that you arrived from here — and nothing whatever about you. Those links also set rel="noreferrer", which strips the address your browser would otherwise hand over automatically, so the tag stands in place of that rather than adding to it. No other page tags its links, and nothing reports back here: we cannot see who clicked what.

Buying things

Nothing is for sale here yet. Merch and the sample pack are marked Coming Soon and there is no checkout on this site. When they go live, the sale will be handled by a store off-site and this page will be updated before that happens.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since the site collects nothing from anyone, this is a statement about the Laylo list: if you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will have the entry removed.

Changes

If the site starts collecting something — analytics, an embedded signup form, a cart — this page gets rewritten before that ships, and the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions; the date is the version.
